The 1st Miss Balikbayan International 2013 aims to discover and to highlight the new breed of Balikbayan Filipinas through their own Philippine lineage as well as the culture and values that is uniquely "Filipino" all around the globe.
This international event aims to personify the modern age identity of a "Filipina" as they return to their family's homeland.
